Helen has been treating for over 30 years, so she is an extremely experienced acupuncturist. In that time she has treated a vast range of conditions.

Over the years Helen has

  • Been the recipient of two Research Grants
  • Had a paper published in the Guangxi Journal of TCM on the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis with Chinese medicine
  • Given 3 acupuncture seminars (including 2 on the treatment of neuro-muscular disorders)

Conditions Helen Treats

Helen has a special interest in the treatment of neurological conditions, such as pain, paralysis (including strokes, Bell’s Palsy, etc), numbness, pins and needles, neuropathy, etc., and especially the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis.

She also has a passion for treating the side effects of cancer treatments, including nausea from chemotherapy.

Helen is also an experienced practitioner of Cosmetic Acupuncture, which

  • Helps to eliminate fine wrinkles and reduce deeper wrinkles
  • Treats skin conditions such as acne and rosacea
  • Helps treat alopecia
  • Firms and tones the skin, reducing sagging
  • Improves skin plumpness
  • Smooths and evens out the complexion
  • Reduces the appearance of scars, including acne scars
  • Reduces dark areas or ‘bags’ under the eyes

(If you are interested in having Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments with Helen, she will assess your condition and discuss how effective the treatments are likely to be for you at your first appointment.)

However, with her extensive experience, the above health disorders are only a small selection of those she is experienced in treating.

Helen loves helping people, and she has a friendly and professional nature.
