Centenary Natural Therapies Clinic has been operating in the Centenary area* for over 25 years, and our therapists average 15 years experience. Our philosophy is the constant pursuit of excellence in natural health care.

Our Therapists

Dr Peter Mills (Head Therapist & Acupuncturist)

Dr Peter Mills – Principal Practitioner & Senior Acupuncturist

Peter has a background in many therapies, and has extensive experience with a range of diagnostic systems, including various naturopathic and Japanese acupuncture assessment methods. This allows him to quickly identify what is going on in a client’s body, what is working properly and what is not, what has caused the problem, and what is the best way to resolve it. (This is done during our free Comprehensive Assessment.)

He has a particular interest in fertility, both natural and assisted (IVF, IUI), as well as the management of pain, fatigue, and nausea related to many chronic diseases. He also has a special interest in treating difficult and complex cases.

Dr Hannah Chen (Acup)

Dr Hannah Chen – Acupuncturist

Hannah was steeped in the knowledge, skills and understanding of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from an early age. She then received training for 8 years from many renowned acupuncture and Chinese medicine therapists, before completing her formal acupuncture degree.

Hannah has a special interest in the treatment of

  • Anxiety and depression

Anthea Watson

Dr Anthea Watson – Acupuncturist

Anthea is a very experienced acupuncturist who has both passion for her work and compassion for her clients. She is a highly skilled therapist, and was the winner of the 2012 Annual Prize by the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association.

Anthea has successfully treated a very broad range of health problems, including many stubborn, long-term conditions. She has a particular interest in working with clients with fertility issues, and other aspects of women’s health. She also has many years of experience in pain relief, and in the management of fatigue and nausea relating to many chronic diseases. Anthea can further help with chronic pain related to depression by managing the underlying chronic pain.

Dr Helen Jorgensen – Acupuncturist

Helen is an extremely experienced acupuncturist who has been treating for over 30 years.

She has also been a lecturer with various universities and colleges for many years. During her long career Helen has treated a vast range of conditions, however she has a special interest in treating neurological conditions, pain, paralysis (including strokes, Bell’s Palsy, etc), numbness, pins and needles, neuropathy, and Multiple Sclerosis.

She also has a passion for treating the side effects of cancer treatments, including nausea from chemotherapy, and is an experienced practitioner of Cosmetic Acupuncture.

Dr Becky Hull

Dr Becky Hull – Osteopath

Becky obtained her Masters in Osteopathy 12 years ago in England. After moving to Australia, she spent 8 years as the Senior Osteopath and Clinical Mentor at a major osteopathic clinic in Melbourne. In her role as Clinical Mentor, she conducted weekly training sessions for 6 less experienced osteopaths, and supervised students doing their Osteopathic internships.

As an osteopath, Becky works on the muscles, spine, joints, tendons and other connective tissue of her clients to treat all aspects of their structure and alignment. She has a particular interest in the treatment of

  • Back pain (including disc pain)
  • Neck pain (including whiplash)
  • Knee, hip and ankle pain
  • Headaches & migraines
  • Sciatica
  • Shoulder elbow and wrist pain
  • Sports injuries

and also enjoys treating children.

Margaret McNamara – Naturopath, Herbalist, Clinical Nutritionist, Lecturer

Margaret has qualifications in Naturopathy, Iridology, Western Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, and Weight Loss Coaching. After conducting thorough testing and analysis of your condition, she provides practical health solutions to help people reach their full health potential, and enjoy the life that comes with abundant vitality and energy for family, friends, work and fun.

As well as analysing your health history, family genetics, diet and lifestyle factors, Margaret also uses micro blood analysis, iridology, Food Intolerance Testing, tongue and nail diagnosis, and various other modern and traditional methods to fully understand how your body works and why it is behaving the way it is. She can also conduct a thorough analysis of your blood test results and let you know exactly what they mean for your health.

We accept cash, credit card, Eftpos, and Hicaps (for participating health funds, you can swipe your health fund card and only pay the gap).
