Article about acupuncture for fertility Brisbane

Peter Mills of Centenary Natural Therapies Clinic – Brisbane, is an acupuncturist specialising in fertility reproductive issues. He explains how he helped Sue:

Acupuncture is a way of improving how the body is working and I practice a Japanese form – a sophisticated and gentler style than Chinese acupuncture. Acupuncture can be extremely effective with natural fertility issues. A typical ICF success rate is around 25 per cent – and with good acupuncture that can rise to 50 per cent.

We first try to establish what’s causing the fertility issue, and with Sue, there was a lack of nourishment and blood supply to the reproductive organs, and her ovaries and uterus were under-functioning. We used specific acupuncture points to boost those organs and improve the circulation generally, while improving her hormone levels too. It was a relatively simple case and she didn’t require many treatments.

But even women who have other natural fertility issues, such as endometriosis or polycystic ovarian syndrome, can be treated successfully, and we tailor the treatment to the individual.”
