About Dr Rik Friend (Osteopath)

Rik graduated with Honours from the top osteopathy college in Europe, and has almost a quarter of a century experience. He uses a range of therapeutic techniques, which allows him to tailor his treatments to obtain the best possible results for each person.

Rik cares strongly about his clients’ wellbeing. Despite his many years of experience, he is always working to expand his skills and knowledge, so that he can give his best to each of his clients.

He has a particular interest in the treatment of

• Neck pain (including whiplash)
• Knee, hip and ankle pain
• Headaches & migraines
• Sciatica
• Shoulder elbow and wrist pain
• Sports injuries

“A little about me.

I graduated from The British School of Osteopathy, London, in 1999. I have worked since as an Osteopath, developing, learning and continually growing. I have owned and run my own multi practitioner clinics, single practice clinics and worked in education. I am, as I would describe, a general Osteopath. I do not specialise in one area or adhere to one set of techniques, I prefer to work with each person individually and let the situation inform the best approach. 

I’m a very easy going, person centred practitioner, professional and dedicated to excellent practice. Good communication and education are a large part of my work with each individual patient.”
