"I enjoy treating a range of conditions and I love being able to treat whatever walks through the door. Basically, I like treating everything!"

Background

"I’ve been interested in natural health since I was a child, mainly massage and herbs because growing up in a small country town, I didn’t hear about acupuncture until I was in my 20’s. I’ve also always been interested in the relationship between the body and the mind.

When I left high school I discovered acupuncture and was instantly attracted to it - it combined everything I loved - massage, herbs, and much more. A few years (and a few kids) later, I had moved to Brisbane where my family is now living and began my journey as an acupuncturist.

I graduated from Endeavour College in 2018 and since then have been working and continuing to learn and develop my skills. As soon as possible after graduating I started to learn Japanese acupuncture, in the style of Kiiko Matsumoto, which attracted me with its instantaneous effects and pain-free needling style. I like that instead of me having my ideas about what the patient’s body needs, I can get that information directly from the patient’s body. Its like asking the patient’s body which acupuncture points it needs."
