Dr Antoine Rahier

What originally captivated Antoine about osteopathy was its versatility. Each day presents him with an opportunity to treat a diverse range of individuals, from elite athletes to the elderly, and even infants. He has developed the ability to tailor techniques specifically to each person’s unique needs, allowing for a multifaceted approach in addressing his client’s pain and discomfort. 

Antoine has had the opportunity to treat a wide array of conditions, and this has instilled a deep appreciation for lifelong learning in him. He is passionate about discovering new skills that enable him to provide exceptional treatments for his clients. Antoine has pursued additional training and studies in paediatrics, visceral osteopathy, advanced manipulation, and functional techniques to augment his expertise.

Antoine enjoys helping people who experience headaches, sports injuries, pregnancy-related concerns, and paediatric conditions. Having completed a thesis on stress management and psychoeducation he has gained significant experience in assisting patients dealing with stress, anxiety, and breathing issues. Antoine stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical research, allowing him to provide high-quality treatments to his clients.

Outside of work, Antoine leads an active lifestyle, enjoying various sports including Judo, rugby and football. As well as keeping him physically fit, he also enjoys the challenges and teamwork involved in these sports, and is consistently pushing himself to achieve new goals. In addition, he finds great fulfillment contributing to the community, particularly when it involves supporting and empowering the younger generation. He is active in a number of groups or organisations who assist and guide young people, including mentoring programs, sports coaching, and volunteering at local community centres.

Born in New Caledonia, Antoine is fluent in both English and French.
